I received my Bachelor of Music degree in 2015 from Nazareth College of Rochester, where I studied Music Therapy, Psychology, and Jazz Studies. While at Nazareth, I received the 2015 Music Therapy Award as well as the Raymond Shiner Jazz Award. I completed my internship in Rochester, NY at Mary Cariola Children’s Center, where I worked with students ages 3-21 with Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as multiple to complex disabilities. Additionally, I have experience working with individuals diagnosed with aphasia, dementia/Alzheimer’s disease, post-stroke symptoms, and TBI/AnBI, as well as various diagnoses within the mental health field.
After spending 5 unforgettable, transformative years in Rochester, I moved back home to Buffalo to be with my family, spread my wings, and eat real pizza. I currently provide music therapy and music instruction with a variety of organizations throughout Western New York, including Baker Victory Services, the Community Music School of Buffalo, Liberty POST, Buffalo Niagara Music Therapy Services, and my own private studio. I am also a faculty member at Villa Maria College, where I created the curricula for and teach Psychology of Music, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Performance Psychology.
